Statement from the Artist
It is a profound privilege to capture the inspiring landscapes of Sonoma County through my art. My paintings aim to share the region's natural beauty while promoting its preservation. I am honored to showcase my work alongside a conservation organization like the Laguna de Santa Rosa Foundation.
About the Artist
Lenona Winter has dedicated her adult life to the art of painting. She began her artistic journey studying Chinese Brush Painting for five years with Madeleine Fu, a protégé of the internationally acclaimed artist Chang Dai-chein. For the past 20 years, she has focused on plein air and studio oil painting. Lenona regularly participates in Sonoma County's open studio events, Art at the Source and Art Trails. She also owned and operated Acacia Gallery, a fine art establishment in Marin County, for 30 years. Her work has been widely exhibited and collected internationally.
